If you are a survivor or a friend or family member of someone who is a victim and you want help or information, your best option is to call the domestic violence program in your community. If you don't know their number, you can call your statewide hotline or the national domestic violence hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE(7233) or 1-800-787-3224 (TDD for the hearing impaired) to find the program nearest you.
